Research On The Development History Of Zhejiang Red Culture(Since1978)

In the Report to the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,clearly point out that We will stay firmly rooted in Chinese culture.We will collect and refine the defining symbols and best elements of Chinese culture and showcase them to the world.We will accelerate the development of China’s discourse and narrative systems,better tell China’s stories,make China’s voice heard,and present a China that is credible,appealing,and respectable.The history of the development of China’s red culture is the most vivid textbook,and the accumulated red culture is the best voice of China.Since the reform and opening up,relying on its unique location and the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit of self-improvement and daring,Zhejiang has grown rapidly from a province with a weak economic base to one of the most developed provinces in China.Based on a comprehensive overview of the development of Zhejiang’s red culture and implementation of the important measures of the Double-Eight Strategy since the reform and opening up,the timeline is specifically divided into Zhejiang’s red culture at the early stage of reform and opening up(1978-2002),Zhejiang’s red culture in the new century and new period(2003-2011),and Zhejiang’s red culture in the new era(2012-present).This paper takes the red culture of Zhejiang since the reform and opening up as the research object and composes the development results of each stage from three aspects:institutional,material,and spiritual.By summarizing the results of each stage,the following construction experiences are drawn: the government should formulate the policy of protecting red cultural resources;and ensure the effects of policy implementation and education and propaganda of red culture;and the academic circle should deepen the theoretical research on the value and function of red culture;and adhere to the innovative development and achievement transformation of red culture.To sum up,the ways are extracted for the successive development of red culture:establishing the guiding position of Marxism in the development of red culture;adhering to the people-centered philosophy of development;and closely combining the key to development with the background of the times.Deepening and focusing on the development history of red culture from point to surface can provide historical basis and contribute to the innovative development of red culture in the new era through Zhejiang’s experience.
