American painter Dan.Mc Caw once said,"I paint with an emotion, and the audience can see that." My goal is to express a feeling, not just what it looks like. That’s why I spend so much time dealing with emotions and light rather than details."From the classical figurative technique to the technique of more intense light and shadow, and the shape is more ambiguous and abstract, the emergence of impressionist painting has brought about a great change in the interest pursued by painting art. This reflects the rich life experience of the Impressionist artists and their urgent desire for self-expression.Unlike previous neoclassicism and romanticism,Impressionist painting broke with the rational-dominated painting process. The bold use of color, the rich generalization of shapes, and the artist’s pursuit of expressing emotions through pictures have inspired my artistic practice.Based on the personal experience and perception of personal investigation in Tibet, this thesis explores and studies the inner spirit, emotional expression, color, brushstroke texture, body language, etc.of Impressionist painting and expressionist painting as the research object, combined with the selection of the theme of self-artistic creation, the graduation creative process and the final picture of the work.By studying the different psychological feelings brought by different colors to the viewer, looking for ways for color to convey emotions, using color to express a stronger picture appeal, using the picture atmosphere formed by the fusion of light and shadow and the combination of quartz sand and gravel materials and shaping paste to apply to the creation,so that the picture has a richer and thicker texture, thereby arousing the resonance of the viewer,is the purpose pursued by the creative practice of my graduation work "All Living Beings Series".
