Current Situation And Social Motivation Of Street Dance Clubs In Taiyuan Universities Social Motivation Analysis

Street dance,as a new sport with its unique cultural connotation,is rapidly emerging in China’s colleges and universities,and street dance clubs have emerged and played an important role in college students’ sports activities.With Breaking officially becoming a competition item of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games,street dance has been officially pushed to the boom,driving more college students to participate in street dance clubs.Therefore,by investigating the current situation of street dance clubs in Taiyuan colleges and universities,analyzing their overall development,and analyzing the case study of street dance clubs in Shanxi University,we propose constructive countermeasures and suggestions for the existing problems,and also provide reference for the benign operation and sustainable development of street dance clubs in other colleges and universities.The research methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire survey,case study,mathematical statistics and logical analysis are used to analyze the current situation and social motives of street dance clubs in Taiyuan colleges and universities,and to analyze eight aspects,such as curriculum development,organization structure of clubs,club managers,club members,activity schedule,development venues and facilities,funding for activities and club events.The purpose of this study is to find out the problems and development constraints of street dance clubs in colleges and universities.At the same time,from the perspective of social motivation,we use the theory of drive and causation to explore the motivation that is conducive to the development of the clubs,so as to cultivate more college students’ enthusiasts and inheritors of the street dance movement,and provide reference for the construction of street dance campus culture.The findings of the study are as follows:(1)The development scale of street dance clubs in Taiyuan colleges and universities is expanding year by year,but there are still problems such as low rate of mandatory street dance courses,lack of street dance teaching materials,weak resources of professional teachers,insufficient teaching experience of club instructors,low level of street dance movement awareness among club members,and insufficient street dance teaching venues and infrastructure.(2)There is an imbalance in the ratio of men to women in Taiyuan university street dance societies,and the members of the societies are mainly female,accounting for74.15%;the satisfaction of the society members with the street dance venue is low,accounting for 51.74%;there is a large gap in the choice of dance styles,mainly concentrated in four types of dance styles,namely Hip-hop,Jazz,Breaking and Urban;Au Boiling Street Dance Society The special teaching management of "grading mode" and the flexible and strong connectivity of dance courses are of reference value to other college street dance clubs;the biggest factor restricting the development of college street dance clubs is the lack of venue facilities,accounting for 77.07%.(3)Seven social factors,including economic development,policy support,cultural acceptance and innovation,the improvement of group identity and street dance expression,the directional role of several factors under the orientation of street dance to the Olympic Games,the emergence of online variety shows and short videos,and street dance clubs as a bridge for the transition from traditional sports to new physical education content,are the strong social motivations that contribute to the development of college street dance clubs.(4)Countermeasures for the development of street dance societies in Taiyuan colleges and universities: clarify the functions and positioning of street dance societies and strengthen the construction of diversified organizations of street dance societies;establish a self-adapted management system and enhance the formalized organizational attributes of societies;compile teaching materials related to street dance movement and strengthen the construction of teachers of societies;enhance the brand innovation consciousness of societies and increase the publicity and marketing of societies;increase the financial income of societies and improve the construction of venue infrastructure;open diversified courses of dance categories and improve the dynamic consciousness of street dance participants;build a practical platform for societies’ street dance events and broaden the socialization links of societies.
