The art spirit of the Red Land is an artistic representation of the revolutionary deeds in the red areas and is an important part of the red revolutionary spirit of China.Jiangxi,as the red homeland with the most red resources in China, has attracted many famous artists to sketch and create, such as He Kongde,Quan Shanshi,Ma Hongdao,Luo Gongliu,Liu Chunhua and so on.They created many outstanding works for the country with the red resources of Jiangxi, such as "The Meeting at Jinggang Mountain" and "Chairman Mao Goes to Anyuan",which have become the classics of Chinese red-themed art works. This fertile red soil of Jiangxi has also nurtured such outstanding local artists of Jiangxi as Shi Shaochen,Zhang Renyuan, and Qi Deyan. As one of the first artists to grow up in the Red Land of Jiangxi after the founding of the People’s Republic,Qi Deyan, with his "sense of social responsibility" and love for painting, went deep into the lives of the people and nature, creating such masterpieces as "Rural Survey","The Meeting at Jinggang Mountain" and "The Immortal Mountains of Shu".The spirit of the times and the artistic character in his works are in harmony with the spirit of the Red Land,so studying the paintings of Diem can further understand the spirit of the Red Land. The first chapter introduces the development of China’s red revolutionary art and the construction of the artistic spirit of the Jiangxi Red Land, and then introduces the creative history of the Red Land artist Qi Deyan. The second chapter analyzes the construction of the artistic language and the artistic characteristics of Qi Deyan, starting with his artistic creations in the Red Lands of Jiangxi and the Red Lands of Southwest China, and then summarizes the influence of his paintings in the third chapter.
