| With the increasingly close exchanges among China,Japan,and Russia,the mutual exchange and understanding among the three countries in the field of literature are also receiving more attention.The literary translation movement in China that began in the late Qing Dynasty was not isolated or simply an output or passive recipient.During this period,Chinese students and translators actively engaged in translation activities,allowing traditional Chinese literature to rapidly develop in the collision of Eastern and Western literature,and subsequently giving birth to a culturally distinctive modern Chinese literature,which has made an indelible contribution to the exchange and dissemination of world culture.Pushkin’s masterpiece "The Captain’s Daughter",as the first translated Russian literary novel to be introduced to China and Japan,has profound research significance at the source.Therefore,there are many scholars at home and abroad who have conducted extensive research in this field.However,most of the previous research is limited to the image analysis,spiritual exploration,and other aspects of the work,and there are few studies on the translation from the perspective of translation,which easily obscures the overall picture of the work.When "Captain’s Daughter" was first translated and introduced to China and Japan,it was translated into "The Russian Love Story" and "The Fantastic Tales of Russia: The Amorous Butterfly"(later changed to "The Russian Love Story: The Legend of Smith and Mary").The translations were actually not perfect,but were only domesticated "Hao Jie Yi",full of the era’s color of translation.In view of this,it is necessary to combine translation theory with the translation,focus on analyzing the phenomenon of "Hao Jie Yi" in the Chinese and Japanese versions,and explore the possible social history reasons.This will not only enrich the relevant research on the Chinese and Japanese versions of "The Captain’s Daughter",but also provide a reliable analysis on the translation level based on the base text for "Hao Jie Yi",and give a glimpse of China The fact that Japan has absorbed and transformed Russian literature,as well as the collision of Eastern and Western cultures in translation,can provide reference for the study of translation history and the cultural exchange between China,Japan,and Russia reflected in the history of Chinese literature in the late Qing Dynasty.This thesis consists of five chapters.Chapter 1 is an introduction,outlining the research background,purpose,content,significance,domestic and foreign research status and deficiencies,and the research methods used in this paper.Chapter 2 defines "Hao Jie Yi," explains its characteristics and birth background,introduces the authors and translators of the main research objects,and elaborates on why "The Captain’s Daughter" is chosen as the translation object.Chapter 3 conducts research based on the Chinese and Japanese "Hao Jie Yi" of "The Captain’s Daughter," involving analysis of the translations and translators.Chapter 4 focuses on analyzing the dissemination and significance of "The Captain’s Daughter" and "Hao Jie Yi," while Chapter 5 is the conclusion and outlook of this article. |
