The Application Of Surrealist Expression Technique In Poster Design

Poster design,with its intuitive image and rich forms of expression,brings people a strong visual impact.Under the influence of the new media era,the application of poster design also shows more significance and value,and its creation process gradually pays attention to the injection of thoughts and emotions and the expression of visual language.Surrealism,which originated in the Modernism period,has a unique artistic style of dream-interpretation and grotesque,which creates a novel visual experience for the public.Its way of thinking and visual effects also enrich the creative ideas and forms of expression of poster design.Taking surrealism as a starting point,this paper discusses the theories related to surrealism and poster design.Then,starting from the concept of surrealism and combining with poster design examples,this paper deeply analyzes and explores the expression techniques of surrealism in poster design,and then sums up the design methods and applies them to design practice.Finally,the application of surrealism in poster design is demonstrated through the example of social phobia,so as to arouse the audience’s emotional resonance,and at the same time,inject new inspiration and vitality into the exploration of surrealism in poster design.It is expected that this research and design practice will not only continuously innovate the application of surrealistic expression techniques in poster design but also meet the aesthetic needs of the public.
