The art song "Silent Noon" is the second song in the vocal suite "House of Life" by British composer Vaughan Williams,which uses unique creative skills to show a romantic pastoral picture.This paper focuses on the following three parts to study the song "Silent at Noon" : The first part introduces and analyzes the composer’s early life and the background of the creation of his works;The second part focuses on the noumenon of the work,and analyzes its creative characteristics from the aspects of musical form structure,mode tonality,lyrics distribution,accompaniment and melody characteristics;The third part compares different versions of foreign singers with their own learning and singing experience,and analyzes the singing of the art song Silent at Noon.At the same time,it uses the interdisciplinary research method to examine the works from a unique perspective,hoping to provide new experience for learning and singing English art songs.
