Ralph Vaughan Williams was one of the most important composers of the British Renaissance in the 20 th century.He promoted the collection of folk songs in the British Three Islands,which laid a solid foundation for the development of British folk music and brought British folk music to the world stage.His creation is based on the British folk music,but also integrates the western tradition and modern advanced composition techniques,thus forming his own unique creative style,with high artistic value."The Violin Concerto in d minor","completed in 1925.This paper takes the Violin Concerto in d minor as the research object,combining the composer’s life and social background of the work.This article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter explains the life introduction of Vaughn Williams and the writing background of the Violin Concerto in d minor.The second chapter analyzes the harmonic structure,tone tone and rhythm of the Violin Concerto in d minor.The third chapter is the study and elaboration of the performance techniques,left and right hand skills and musical details of the work.I hope to provide valuable help to the researchers who will study the relevant content.
