With the continuous development of social economy,the concern for the bottom face and marginalized groups has become a trend,and the social concern for special education has been increasing.Special education is an important part of national education and has a positive role in enhancing social civilization,reducing the burden on families and society,and realizing educational equity and education modernization.Focusing on special education,the documentary "Guardians of the Broken Angel" focuses on Meng Fang,the principal of the special education school in Shangyou County,and Jiang Zhibin,a young teacher,to show the guardians behind children with disabilities,who are hidden from public view.The film is edited in a documentary style through a block structure,presenting the teaching work and daily life of special education teachers and students,combining an objective narrative perspective to show a side of special education that is not known to the public.Through the camera’s recording of the special education teaching scene,viewers can learn about the hardships of special education work,discover the warm and shining side of human nature,and experience the extraordinary efforts of teachers for the cause of special education,their boldness and dedication to the times.We also hope that the film will promote people’s concern for special education teachers and children with special needs,and increase their understanding of special education.
