Borderland Writing In Li Juan’s Prose

Li Juan’s prose takes the local culture of Allay in Xinjiang as the background,vividly restores the nomadic life style,folk traditions and ethnic etiquette of the Kazakh people,explores the mental state and value pursuit of the people in the border areas,and expresses the beauty of human nature in the background of the border areas.On the one hand,Li Juan depicts the unique landscape of the Allay region with a deep sense of life.He pays tribute to the Kazakh people’s character of loving life,respecting others,and treating others sincerely,and in the strange border landscape,the author immerses himself in it,thinking about the relationship between people and people,between people and nature,and destiny.On the other hand,Li Juan uses simple and delicate language,unhurried rhythm and restrained and hot feelings to express sympathy for the weak,unyielding to suffering and a profound attitude to life,infused with a profound humanistic spirit.The border land is not only the living environment of people,but also the source of people’s spiritual growth,and more importantly,the carrier of thinking about the value and meaning of life.From the life of a unique individual,the author celebrates the beauty of human nature.Its texts focus the reader’s attention on the Altai region and,on a deeper level,stimulate attention to frontier literature.This article focuses on Li Juan’s prose creation from different levels.The first chapter,from the process of Li Juan’s spiritual growth,as well as her life experience from the mainland to the frontier and the impact of this experience on her identity,explores how the author began to create in the context of multicultural experience.It mainly tells about the two-way interaction between Li Juan and the border areas,Li Juan draws spiritual nutrients from ethnic minorities in the Altai area,constantly seeks herself and transcends herself,and the experience from the mainland to the border areas provides Li Juan with creative resources;The second chapter mainly discusses how Li Juan realizes the "literary reproduction" of the original nomadic life from the perspective of women,the intimate description of physical geography,the dynamic presentation of daily life,and the on-site recording and thinking of folk scenes.The third chapter,from the perspective of text reading,explains how the border land forges the unique charm of Li Juan’s prose.Li Juan’s warm writing,praise and compassion for living beings,worry about the ecological crisis of her homeland,and her pursuit of the place where the soul inhabits have become a spiritual dialogue integrated with the frontier land.Li Juan reflects the great changes of the times as a frontier woman,and although she lives in a frontier area,she is a woman with modern consciousness and self-worth pursuit,as she herself said: this may be the last nomadic landscape,but it is certain that this is the deepest and most silent frontier survival.Therefore,this paper takes Li Juan’s prose as the research object,excavates the writer’s border feelings in writing on the ground,and develops thoughts on modernity in the investigation of nomadic life.
