Healthy body has always been the goal of human survival, the foundation of social development and the driving force of economic progress. Therefore, the development of medicine is closely related to the development of human society. As a new text type in medical translation, clinical practice guideline is an important text to provide reference and guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment decision-making,which can systematically and effectively guide clinicians to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment, but it is still a neglected part in the field of translation. Therefore, this practice report has important reference value for the study of Chinese translation of clinical practice reports in China. In this report, two clinical practice guidelines on immunotherapy included in SITC are selected as the research objects. In order to convey the information in text in a fidelity and coherent way,the characteristics of the text are analyzed from lexical, syntactic and textual levels under guidance of the three rules of Skopos Theory, for seeking the plausible translation results. In the process of translation, the translator finds that there are many terminologies, amphibious words and compound words at lexical level.Passive sentences and long and complex sentences are frequently appeared at syntactic level. In addition,as an informative text, its discourse logic is preciseness by using a variety of grammatical cohesive devices. In view of the above characteristics, the problems encountered in the translation process had been analyzed and explored in a systematical way by translator, and the solutions were summarized as follows.Lexically, the terminology database should be established, with the help of professional tool dictionaries and parallel texts,to ensure the professional and scientific translation of medical term.Syntactically, various translation devices such as recombination, division, transformation and amplification should be comprehensively adopted to make the translation conform to the reading habits of the target readers and achieve the communicative purpose.Textually, the coherence of the translation in semantics and pragmatics can be achieved by adjusting cohesive devices to improve the readability of the translation. Therefore, this translation practice shows that the three rules of Skopos theory can effectively improve the translation quality of medical text and have important guiding significance for medical text translation.
