A Study On Editing Features And Features Of Articles In Sports Literature And History (1983-2001)

Since the reform and opening up,our undertakings have ushered in a new development opportunity,the new development direction of our sports work in this stage is the recovery and strengthening of sports literature and history work.Under such circumstances,"Sports Literature History",the first national historical journal,has the premise of establishment.The journal has produced a series of characteristics in its nearly twenty years of periodical construction,these characteristics are still significant for the management and management of sports academic journals.This study is divided into six parts,the preface of which systematically expounds the research background,research significance and core concepts,and at the same time reviews the relevant research status in China.The second part introduces the research ideas and methods.The third part reviews the development course of Sports Literature and History;The fourth part analyzes the publishing features of Sports Literature and History,including the editing features,cover design features,layout design features and column setting features.The fifth part analyzes the characteristics of articles in Sports Literature and History from multiple perspectives,including the number of articles,the number of citations,the prolific author,the gender of the prolific author and the source unit of the prolific author,etc.The sixth part is research conclusions and suggestions.It is found that a series of measures in the operation of Sports Literature and History have contributed to the formation of many features.First of all,the multi-institution joint publication mode has deepened the connection between different academic institutions.Secondly,the editorial thoughts of the editorial department of Sports Literature and History have far-reaching significance to the development of the journal.The editors of the journal show the characteristics of keeping pace with The Times of the discipline theory accomplishment,advanced editing vision,advanced editing ideas and rigorous and meticulous process of manuscript selection and review.Thirdly,with the efforts of the editorial department,the layout design of Sports Literature and History makes the selection of pictures of the publication fit with the purpose of the publication,forming the layout design features of practicality and orientation.Finally,at the level of column setting,Sports Literature and History has the characteristics of topic selection and planning closely related to the reality and the coordinated development of key columns and ordinary columns,and constructed the column of discussion and contention based on the research of sports history,which had a positive impact on the research of sports history at that time.In addition,in terms of the characteristics of its articles,it shows that the highly cited papers of the journal are mainly concentrated in the middle and later period of the journal,professional universities are the main source units of the literature,and Beijing,Zhejiang,Sichuan and other places are the high-yield areas of the journal.From the specific situation of the key words of the journal,the publication has the characteristics of both concentration and dispersion.Through the editing practice of the editorial department,Sports Literature and History has promoted the emergence of the editorial features of the journal,and these features still have a certain reference role for the construction of sports academic journals today.Therefore,this study further proposes that the effective ways to enhance the academic influence of sports academic journals are as follows: first,innovate the operational philosophy of journals and explore innovative management models;Second,create the characteristics of the journal and improve the quality of the journal editing practice.Third,give play to the link function of sports academic journals and build an innovative knowledge production system.
