Comments On Russian And Soviet Literature In Foreign Literature Studies

Since its inception in 1978,Foreign Literature Studies has attached great importance to the publication of the research results of domestic Russian Soviet literature reviews,and has been concerned about the academic developments of foreign Russian Soviet literature,which has a wide range of academic influence at home and abroad.The research of the Russian Soviet literature review in the study of foreign literature is of great significance to the translation and study of Chinese Russian Soviet literature since the reform and opening up.This paper will take Foreign Literature Studies as the research object,on the one hand,extract the literature related to Russian and Soviet literature reviews in it,comb them with time as the main line,and deeply explore the development context of domestic Russian and Soviet literature research;on the other hand,analyze the setting of Russian and Soviet literature research column in the journal,track the creation and evolution process of related columns,summarize the internal relations of journal columns and the academic research at home and abroad.The first chapter takes the Russian Soviet literature review articles published in Foreign Literature Studies from 1978 to 2019 as the research object,and makes a general comment on the research process of Russian Soviet literature since the reform and opening up.First of all,all the articles on Russian Soviet literature published since the founding of Foreign Literature Studies were screened out,and then the samples were statistically analyzed,and the development of Russian Soviet literature research was preliminarily investigated combined with the statistical results.After statistics and analysis,the development of Russian Soviet literature research reflected by the samples is basically consistent with the overall domestic research and development process,which to a certain extent represents the overall level of domestic Russian Soviet literature review since the reform and opening up.The development of Russian Soviet literature research in China shows different characteristics at different stages.In the late 1970s,influenced by the overall domestic environment,the development of Russian Soviet literature research was slow;in the 1980s,the Russian Soviet literature review in the study of foreign literature ushered in a new starting point,the study of Russian Soviet literature was more historical and objective,and the study of classic writers’ works was also in-depth;in the 1990s,The disintegration of the Soviet Union had a great influence on the literary relations between China and Russia,and the number of Russian and Soviet literature review articles in the Journal of Foreign Literature Studies declined,but made pioneering progress in terms of quality and innovation;since the 21st century,with the strengthening of cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Russia,the research results on the literary relations between China and Russia have been outstanding,including Bakhtin’s theory Also ushered in prosperity.The second chapter takes the writers and works with high frequency in the sample as the research object,and makes a diachronic investigation on the change of the attention degree of such writers and the specific research results.From the Russian Soviet literature review articles published in Foreign Literature Studies,the writers with high research heat are Leo Tolstoy,Turgenev,Dostoevsky,Sholokhov,Gorky,etc.Scholars’ research focuses mainly on artistic style,creating ideology,domestic research review and so on.The research focuses are often different in different historical periods.This chapter will focus on the analysis of the high-frequency writers in the sample.Through combing the relevant research results published in Foreign Literature Studies since 1978,it will form the overall context of the study of writers,and further investigate the basic situation of the study of Russian and Soviet writers’ works since the reform and opening up.The third chapter takes the special column of Russian Soviet literature set up since the founding of Foreign Literature Studies as the research object,and analyzes the creation and evolution of the column.The first special column about Russian and Soviet literature research was set up by Foreign Literature Studies magazine in 1979,issue 4,entitled "Is Soviet Contemporary Literature A Forbidden Area?" Since then,Foreign Literature Studies has also added various types of special columns of Russian Soviet literature research,such as Russian Soviet writers’ Memorial column and Russian Soviet literature works research column.The Russian Soviet literature works research column has experienced a long development and evolution,and has been gradually built into a forward-looking and representative characteristic column.The conclusion part reviews the contribution of Russian and Soviet literature review in Foreign Literature Studies to the academic research of China and Russia.Since 1978,the research on Russian and Soviet literature in China has made great progress,and Foreign Literature Studies has always insisted on paying close attention to Russian and Soviet literature.Because the journal can accurately grasp the academic hot spots and the latest research results in the selection of specific articles,when it carries out the overall research on the literature of Russian and Soviet literature published in the journal,It can be found that these research results are highly consistent with the research focus of Russian and Soviet literature in China.Since the 21st century,Foreign Literature Studies has been constantly adjusting its publishing strategy,establishing the goal of internationalization,striving to combine internationalization with localization,and committed to "spreading Chinese discourse and connecting Chinese and foreign academics".At the same time,the magazine pays more attention to the academic dialogue between China and Russia,has hosted academic seminars for many times,and has also created a characteristic column of Russian Soviet literature research,which has played an important role in promoting the academic exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia,and enhancing the international influence of China’s academic.
