Claude-Paul Taffanel(1844-1908),a flute player,composer and conductor,was a representative figure of the School of the French flute in the romantic period,and was honored as "the father of the modern French flute" by later generations.The fantasia analyzed in this paper is adapted from the comic opera "Mignon" composed by Thomas,which is the most representative work of the five fantasia composed by Taffanel.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part briefly analyzes the research background and current situation of "Grande Fantaisie Sur Mignon".The second part briefly summarizes the tower’s life,the characteristics of he as a composer,he played as a performer,the music background and The representation of "Mignon" story in music,and in the flute and piano perspective analysis of the characters in the music.The third part is the elaboration of the performance techniques,musical performance and performance experience in the music,and in the analysis of playing techniques and musical performance into Taffanel’s flute playing requirements.This paper is a rich study of Taffanel’s works "Grande Fantaisie Sur Mignon",aiming to provide help for the players to understand the musical mood of the music,and also provide reference for the players to understand the style and performance characteristics of the French romantic composer flute. |
