| In the process of international Chinese education, teaching materials are an important part of the teaching process. The text in the textbook undertakes most of the functions and functions of language input, and is a model for learners to learn and set an example.Textbooks with unnatural dialogue and rigid language will have a negative impact on learners’ language imitation and acquisition. There are few empirical studies in this field in domestic academic circles,so it is necessary to study the naturalness of text language in Chinese textbooks.Based on the ontology of language and the dialectical analysis of the concept of "naturalness",this paper theoretically constructs an evaluation model to examine the naturalness of oral teaching materials, and selects the oral teaching material "Developing Chinese" as the research object, mainly taking words and sentences as the investigation unit, adopting the method of qualitative and quantitative combination, and combining overall analysis with case analysis to examine the naturalness of the text language of this teaching material. This paper investigates the naturalness of the text language from two aspects: the choice of words and the use of greetings, selects greetings and greetings "Hello",and analyzes in detail the actual presentation of the naturalness of the text language from the perspectives of communication objects, communication scene distribution and pragmatic functions. This paper puts forward some suggestions on improving the naturalness of text language from two aspects: compiling teaching materials and how teachers can make better use of published teaching materials for teaching. In terms of the naturalness of word choice, the psychological tendency of native speakers is understood through questionnaires, and the universality of this psychological tendency is confirmed by a large and stable corpus, which serves as the basis for the investigation of the naturalness of word choice. The choice of words in most textbooks is natural, but the collocation of prosodic structure, the limitation of time and space of words, pragmatic collocation and discourse anaphora can be improved. In the aspect of naturalness in the use of greetings, firstly,we make a general survey of greetings in textbooks from four aspects: types of greetings, communication scenes, communication objects and pragmatic functions. The common greeting types in communication practice have been reflected in the teaching materials, but they can still be improved in the comprehensiveness of type setting; The presentation of communication scenes and communication objects is gradually enriched from primary to intermediate; In terms of pragmatic functions, the setting of greetings in textbooks at the beginning, middle and advanced stages is displayed in the way of "overall introduction-common types-high-frequency types emphasis",which conforms to the natural reality of oral communication and the learning rules of students.Secondly,it makes a natural investigation of the specific greeting "Hello" from two aspects: communication scene and communication object. The scenes appearing in textbooks are divided into three categories: formal,semi-formal and informal, with informal scenes accounting for the highest proportion; The communication objects appearing in the teaching materials are divided into two categories: unfamiliar and familiar, and the use of "hello" in communication with unfamiliar communication objects accounts for the highest proportion. The use of "hello" in the textbook is more natural in the communication object, but it does not reflect the pragmatic restriction that native speakers rarely use hello in informal scenes in the communication scene.Through the above work, the naturalness of the text language of the oral Chinese textbook "Developing Chinese" is investigated. On this basis,we put forward some targeted suggestions, such as compiling the textbook close to the real communication process, updating the textbook in time, strengthening the infiltration of pragmatic culture in the textbook text, replacing and updating the expression with low naturalness in Chinese teaching, creating a real communication environment for learners, and selecting real communication corpus from multiple genres and channels to be included in Chinese teaching. |
