With the rapid development of material life in modern society,people begin to have a common sense of rootlessness,drifting and disintegration in spirit.The root cause is inseparable from people’s disregard and departure from the spiritual hometown.Only by returning to the original hometown can people get rid of the spiritual crisis.The contemporary Liangshan Yi singers expressed their spiritual weightlessness and struggle in the gap of modern civilization through their musical works.Based on the perspective of cultural anthropology,combined with the theory of the philosophy of spirit,phenomenology of perception,local knowledge and so on,this paper discusses the spirit homecoming way of contemporary Liangshan Yi singers in accordance with the basic skeleton of "body" homecoming--humanized spiritual homecoming--transcendental homecoming ".The first part defines the concept of "spirit",then analyzes the connotation of "spiritual homecoming",explains the two-way relationship between "spirit" and "hometown",and then analyzes three ways of spirit homecoming of Liangshan Yi singers layer by layer from the local perspective.The second part discusses the singers’ "body" way of homecoming: traced and confirmed the hometown based on the sensory memory backtracking and the description of the body desire,the audience perceived the singers’ survival anxiety behind the lyrics.On the one hand,the desire to " return" is based on the sensory memory to track the familiar survival field of "hometown";on the other hand,it becomes a way to relieve the anxiety of living in a strange land.But the nature of the "body" determines its limited way of homecoming.The third part discusses the singers’ socialized spiritual homecoming.It analyzes the way of the Yi singers homecoming from three aspects of social content: aesthetic psychology,ethical concept and cultural attribute.That is to say,the distance between reality and aesthetics,individual spiritual dilemma and ethnic identity crisis form the essential driving force of the singers’ desire to go back to their hometown in spirit.The fourth part discusses the singers’ transcendental spiritual homecoming,and it explores the singers’ philosophical way of thinking to deal with the spiritual wasteland of "losing home after returning home" according to the expression of asking freedom and infinity and seeking the original and eternal soul destination in the lyrics.Here,"Homecoming" transcends physical geospatial entities and even transcends time.In a word,the "spiritual homecoming" shows people’s confirmation of their own existence and poetic return from multiple dimensions.The final destination of the singers’ journey is to return to themselves,to realize the reconstruction or recovery of their spiritual home in their true,pure and poetic state.In the journey of exploring the way of spiritual homecoming,singers expand and deepen the connotation of "hometown".Through the return thinking to the spiritual subject,they are trying to find a kind of philosophy of transcendental homecoming,which brings certain enlightenment significance to the individual people,ethnic groups and even the whole human being in the modern wasteland to cope with the crisis of spiritual homecoming.
