| In the process of creating traditional Chinese painting,metaphor is a relatively common method of expression,which developed together with Chinese painting.With the development of the times and the advancement of science and technology,people’s spiritual world is very different from their predecessors,and there are new requirements for contemporary painting art.Contemporary Gongbi creators adapt to the times and reflect the spiritual outlook of the current era and individuals in their works,and they use metaphorical expression techniques to convey people’s indescribable and intricate emotions to the picture.This paper selects the topic of "metaphorical techniques in contemporary gongbi painting" for research,and the main purpose is to provide some theoretical guidance for the graduation works by analyzing their expressions,in order to point out the direction for their own creative expression and get some inspiration from them.The whole paper mainly expounds the problem of metaphorical techniques in contemporary Gongbi painting from three aspects.The first chapter of this paper defines related concepts such as metaphors,briefly discusses the definition of metaphors among different disciplines,and the definition of metaphors in the field of painting,and finally defines the concept of metaphorical techniques according to the definition of painting metaphors.The second chapter of this paper analyzes the use of metaphorical techniques in contemporary Gongbi painting from four aspects: object selection,position management,color expression and name naming.The third chapter of this article focuses on the practical use of metaphorical expression in my own creation.The author tried for the first time to use metaphorical thinking to create the "Invisible" series and "Fault" series,deepened the understanding of metaphorical expression techniques,and carried out overall reflection at the end of the series to summarize experience.Then,he elaborates on the use of metaphor in his graduation work "Falling into the Rabbit Hole",and finally summarizes the shortcomings of this creative research and reflects on his creation. |
