Wang Fuan,modern calligraphic seal engraver,one of the founders of Xiling Seal Society,good at calligraphy,seal cutting,especially in the name of seal script,elegant style Yun by beautiful and elegant.The iron line Zhuan,opening Zongli school,high achievement,enough called Zhejiang school aftereffect.He was the leader of Anhui and Zhejiang schools of seal cutting,and was rated as one of the five masters of modern seal circles,on a par with Wu Changshuo,Huang Shiling,Qi Baishi and Zhao Shuru.The article is divided into six parts to study Wang Fuan’s calligraphy.The first chapter firstly introduces the political,cultural background and social experience of the time in which Wang Fuan lived,and analyzes the formation of Wang Fuan’s early calligraphic thoughts and calligraphic features through these humanistic environmental factors.The second part is the summary of Wang Fuan’s calligraphy works,including the forms and types of Wang Fuan’s calligraphy works,the analysis of Wang Fuan’s calligraphy and the statistics of Wang Fuan’s surviving writings.The third chapter takes Wang Fuan’s seal script as the research object,through the analysis of Wang Fuan’s seal script selection method,techniques to carry on a more in-depth analysis of Wang Fuan’s seal script,so as to have a deep understanding of Wang Fuan’s seal script.The fourth chapter takes Wang Fuan’s official script as the research object.The patriarchal tablet of Fa and Han Dynasty of official script has its own style.The style of its works is mainly divided into three categories:simple and honest,elegant and elegant,and handsome and elegant.The fifth chapter takes Wang Fuan’s running script and regular script as the research object,the running script is clear and meaningful,natural and smooth;Regular script steady and calm,simple and smart.The sixth chapter summarizes and evaluates Wang Fuan’s contribution to calligraphy art and the enlightenment to contemporary calligraphy and individuals.
