The Influence Of Wang Fuan’s Calligraphy Style On His Seal Cutting Style In Different Periods

Wang Fuan is a famous Calligrapher and seal cutter in the modern history of seal cutting.His creation level in both calligraphy and seal cutting has reached a certain height,and he is also a representative figure in the direction of " Seal Cutting From Calligraphy ",which has a profound influence on the seal cutting creation of later generations.Based on Wang Fuan’s artistic experience,friends and the style and features of his works,this paper classifies the styles of Wang Fuan’s calligraphy and seal cutting works by stages.And the calligraphy styles and seal cutting styles of different periods are compared,so as to better explore the relationship between his calligraphy and seal cutting,reveal the characteristics and rules of his calligraphy and seal cutting creation,and provide reference for future learnners to learn Wang Fuan’s calligraphy and seal cutting.
