The Embodiment Of Chinese Elements In Qu Wei’s Piano Works

As a composer throughout the development of Chinese music in the 20 th century,Qu Wei has created works in various genres,such as opera,symphony,orchestral suite,piano,etc.,mainly to express folk art forms and praise the people’s production and life.Piano music is one of Qu Wei’s important creative content."Lotus Dance" is one of the most influential and popular works.It was created in 1978 and is his last piano music work.In this work,he combined the background of the times,deeply explored the folk music materials and national elements,and used the creative technique of combining western composition techniques with Chinese national elements to deeply interpret the rich folk style characteristics in Qu Wei’s piano music creation.This article is divided into four parts.The first part is Qu Wei’s background and life;The second part is the creation background of the work "Lotus Dance".This chapter takes Qu Wei’s era background as the starting point,analyzes the creation background and style of the work,analyzes and summarizes the Chinese elements of different art forms included in the work for the first time,reflecting Qu Wei’s creation idea of integrating Chinese elements into piano works;The third part is the performance analysis of the work "Lotus Dance",which has gained a new understanding of the timbre,touch keys,pedal and other performance skills;The fourth part is the conclusion.By combing Qu Wei’s creative life and looking up the relevant materials of Longdong Yangge,this paper studies the Chinese elements embodied in the form structure,theme,rhythm,timbre aesthetics and other aspects of "Lotus Dance",and combining with the actual performance,deeply understands Qu Wei’s creative ideas rooted in the people and the promotion of the development of Chinese piano music,and learns the unique performance techniques of imitating the timbre of national instrumental music with the piano,It deepens my grasp of the performance style of Chinese piano works and provides useful reference for those who want to learn Qu Wei’s piano works。...
