He Yang xiong "You hin angel family language interpretation of other dialects" as an object of the dialect vocabulary,for the first time reveals the dialect vocabulary and the relationship between the folk.Folk words condense the essence and inheritance of regional culture,and many folk words that are about to disappear can be captured from folk culture.Dialect folk words are not only a linguistic phenomenon but also represent a kind of folklore.Under such a premise,the two-way study between dialect and regional culture is the only way to explore the relationship between language and folk culture.As the gathering place of Chinese civilization,Hohhot’s unique folk fusion and cultural complexity are its particularly prominent exemplary characteristics.However,with the further popularization of Mandarin,the cultural resources of Hohhot dialect are facing the plight of being endangered,and there is currently no research material in the two-way study of dialect folk customs.Therefore,taking Hohhot dialect folk words as the research object,Indepth analysis of dialect folk words behind the cultural uniqueness,to make up for the blank of literature research.The main body of the thesis is divided into four parts.The first part analyzes Hohhot dialect folk words and material culture.Material folk words not only reflect the consensus among all members of a region and the sense of cultural identity,but also strengthen each other’s ideas and beliefs,and enhance the cohesive tendency among groups.As a multi-ethnic settlement place,the food culture of Huheh area is extremely rich and integrated,showing the characteristics of the food culture of the people living in compact communities.For example,the bakery,which is essential for the breakfast of the people in Huheh,is handed down by the Hui people who moved to Hohhot.At present,the best bakery is still the "Halal Lao Ma Jia" bakery.But the food has spread all over the city,no matter what ethnic group,enjoy it.Compared with the food culture,the costume culture highlights the ethnic customs of Hohhot more.The famous Mongolian costumes such as "Qingcheng","cold hat","Mongolian robe",and the headdress "motherly pearl" for women are all traditional Mongolian styles with full charm.Mongolian people always wear the Mongolian costume to show their importance in wedding celebrations and festivals.The second part discusses Hohhot dialect folk words and life etiquette culture."Life etiquette is an important part of social folklore." The folk words in Huheh dialect include different stages of life such as birth,marriage and funeral.Although the procedures and names are similar to those in other places,there are still some differences in the treatment of some details.These differences also highlight the differences in the psychological structure of people in different regions influenced by culture.The third part discusses Hohhot dialect folk words and festival culture.In this chapter,according to the characteristics of ethnic integration in Hohhot,it will be divided into two parts: traditional festival folk culture and characteristic ethnic festival folk culture.In view of the former,on the basis of following the traditional culture and customs,Huheh area has carried out different degrees of increase and decrease;The latter may be more persuasive in highlighting regional characteristics.In this section,festivals of other ethnic groups living in Huheh will be broadly expounded and analyzed.The fourth part explores Hohhot dialect folk words and folk entertainment culture.Entertainment culture involves art culture and game culture.Folk art and culture more reflects the unique artistic creativity of the people in Huheh area.Under the advantaged natural geographical conditions,art forms and art groups such as "Duo Duo" and "Wulan Muqi" have emerged.Folk game culture is more based on the material life satisfaction,people’s cultural creation to enrich the spiritual life,such as "Ge Jiang Er","Fenghulu er","Jiaoga er" and so on.Through the collection and analysis of Hohhot dialect words,it is possible to detect the traces of variation and inheritance of local customs,and experience the local people’s unique understanding of life contained in them,which has a great effect on understanding the deep structure of folk culture.
