Research On The Path Of Social Consensus Building For Anti-epidemic Documentaries

The massive global outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in early 2020 has had an unprecedented impact on politics,economics and life around the world.In the face of the sudden onslaught of the COVID-19 epidemic,Chinese Government has always upheld the concept of "people first,life first",putting the lives and health of the people in the first place and waging a nationwide battle to prevent and control the epidemic.In the process of fighting the epidemic,the majority of medical and nursing workers fought bravely,the People’s Liberation Army commanders bore the heavy burden,community workers,grassroots cadres,journalists and volunteers stood firm at their posts,and the people actively cooperated with the epidemic prevention and control work...in the whole society to build up a people’s defense line with the participation of all people and group prevention and control,and gathered a strong force to overcome the epidemic.As a new media force based on reality,the anti-epidemic documentary shows the unity and determination of the Chinese people in the fight against the new pneumonia epidemic,which has become a vehicle for social consensus and has played a role in gathering people’s hearts,warming their hearts and strengthening their confidence in society.This thesis explores the path of social consensus building in anti-epidemic documentaries by combining outstanding anti-epidemic documentaries,guided by narrative theory,empathy theory and social consensus theory,and using research methods such as documentary research and case study method.Specifically,the first chapter explains the concepts of anti-epidemic documentaries and social consensus building,analyses the objective environment for social consensus building in anti-epidemic documentaries,and on this basis clarifies the research ideas of this thesis;The second chapter explores the external influences of anti-epidemic documentaries in building social consensus at two levels: government policy and science and technology,and explores how anti-epidemic documentaries have contributed to a consensus public perception of the fight the COVID-19 epidemic under the influence of government policy and science and technology;The third chapter analyses the internal paths of social consensus building in anti-epidemic documentaries in terms of narrative structure,narrative perspective and narrative language in the context of outstanding anti-epidemic documentaries as well as the final project;Finally,it concludes with a summary of the path of social consensus building for anti-epidemic documentaries and looks at future ideas for the creation of documentaries under major sudden public crisis events.This thesis focuses on anti-epidemic documentaries and explores the path of social consensus building,aiming to provide a new perspective on the social value of anti-epidemic documentaries,with a view to providing a powerful reference for the creation of documentaries in major sudden public crisis events.
