It is of great significance to explore the supply and demand of food for improving the local food environment and improving the health level of residents.Due to the uneven distribution of food stores in different areas,the lack of healthy food supply and the limitations of their own conditions,the residents can not get healthy and cheap food,resulting in unreasonable dietary structure of the residents,it increases the risk of diseases such as obesity.These can not meet the needs of individuals and families living in areas of healthy food,thus forming a“Food desert”phenomenon.In order to solve the problem of food access,the research is based on POI data,population data,neighborhood data and interview data,etc.,a two-step moving search method combined with location entropy was used to define the food desert areas in Qingdao,from the perspectives of supply,demand,built environment and administration,this thesis explores the formation mechanism of food desert area,and according to the interaction mechanism of each influencing factor,this thesis puts forward the spatial control strategies for improving food deserts,and draws the following conclusions:The food supply facilities in Qingdao’s main urban areas are distributed in clusters,with the central region being relatively dense and the peripheral areas relatively scattered.The population of the main urban areas of Qingdao presents a spatial pattern of high in the middle and low around,with uneven distribution among regions.The average ratios of supply and demand in different districts are Licang District,Laoshan District,Shinan District and Shinan District.The degree of internal supply and demand balance is quite different.The food desert districts are mainly concentrated in the middle of the main urban area,and there are sporadic distribution in the peripheral areas.Among them,the area of food desert in the north of the city is the most extensive,and the supply of commercial service facilities around Xinduxin is still insufficient.The formation of food desert is affected by food supply,resident demand,built environment and administration.From the point of view of supply,the professional service awareness of the city’s business environment is not in place,the radiation driving ability of the business circle is not strong,the commercial form is single,the commercial land price and the competition of the business influence the location of the business,the profit is less,and the operation mode of the supermarket has the flaw and so on.From the point of view of demand,population aggregation,difference of consumption ability between individual and family,perception of surrounding environment,consumption preference and habit,life style can all affect residents’ food acquisition.In addition,building layout,service facilities and traffic conditions,as well as urban renewal,planning and construction and other administrative factors will lead to the formation of urban food desert.Taken together,the food deserts in Qingdao’s main urban areas are caused by a combination of factors.In view of the problem of food deserts in Qingdao,the following spatial control measures are proposed.From the point of view of supply,the food supply supermarket should make clear its own position and realize the dislocation operation.Small businesses can join supermarket chains to improve their competitiveness.In the food desert areas of the community can be equipped with automatic vending machine,through the fresh food distribution of the "Last kilometer.".From the perspective of demand,the implementation of the strategy to expand domestic demand,stable consumer expectations,to stimulate food consumption.Second,we should improve the social security system,increase the low-income population of the tilt to improve the consumption capacity of residents.In addition,to strengthen the promotion of healthy diet,improve the dietary structure of residents,focusing on the elderly,pregnant women and other groups of dietary needs.From the aspect of built environment,new planning concept should be formed,construction land management and supervision mechanism should be strengthened,and construction layout should be planned rationally.Secondly,we need to improve the commercial,public and residential service facilities system based on the needs of residents.In addition,improve the main urban road network system,accelerate the construction of public transport.From the administrative aspect,we should perfect the urban renewal system and strengthen the construction of commercial service facilities in low-efficiency districts.Speed up the related planning of supporting facilities,improve the efficiency of land use.To raise the "Last kilometer" of food distribution,improve the consumer environment.We will improve the working mechanism for the management of community food supply services and encourage the active participation of residents. |
