this,ceramic culture documentary can awaken the historical memory of the excellent Chinese culture in overseas countries and build up the profound friendship of international friendly dialogue.Therefore,the topic of "Research on Cross-cultural Communication of Ceramic Culture Documentary" is of great practical significance and research value at a time when global interactions and exchanges are becoming more and more close.Based on this,this paper takes the ceramic culture documentary as the research object,adopts the relevant theories of communication and film science as the methodology,adopts the research methods of literature analysis,content analysis,comparative analysis,sampling survey,in-depth interview and so on,and on the basis of studying a large number of excellent documentaries,A comprehensive and systematic review of more than 30 ceramic culture documentaries broadcast since 1950 is carried out to clarify the development context of ceramic culture documentaries,analyze the cross-cultural communication value of ceramic culture documentaries,and analyze the cross-cultural communication subject,audience,content presentation,channel and effect of Chinese ceramic culture documentaries.Finally,the development countermeasures of the cross-cultural communication of ceramic culture documentaries are discussed.In order to arouse people’s attention to the value of cross-cultural communication of ceramic culture documentary,and at the same time provide new ideas for the theoretical research and creation of cross-cultural communication of documentary,so as to better build a good national image in the process of cross-cultural communication.The first chapter defines the related concepts and sorts out the required theories.The two main sixth chapter explores the cross-cultural communication strategies of the documentary on ceramic culture.According to the difficulties of cross-cultural communication,corresponding strategies are obtained to break through communication barriers such as cultural differences,high and low context differences and resistant interpretation in cross-cultural communication,and find the focal points of crosscultural communication.Let the ceramic culture carried by the documentary tell the story of Chinese ceramics well to the world in today’s highly interconnected world,and show the credible,lovely and respectable image of China to the international audience.The ceramic culture shown in the ceramic culture documentary is popular among people of all countries and has advantages in cross-cultural communication.In strict accordance with the five elements of communication structure,this paper analyzes the process of cross-cultural communication of ceramic culture documentaries one by one,and provides certain reference for the theoretical and practical research of cross-cultural communication of Chinese documentaries.By summarizing the existing problems and deficiencies in the
