The use of visual media in the form of Intangible cultural heritage documentariess provides a means of digitally preserving and disseminating intangible cultural heritage techniques passed down through generations.This allows the regional culture that underlies intangible cultural heritage to be conveyed more directly and effectively to each audience member,leading to new insights and understandings about intangible cultural heritage and specific regional cultures.Intangible cultural heritage documentariess often focus on intangible cultural heritage inheritors as the main subject,showcasing the intricate and unique techniques involved in intangible cultural heritage through the documentation of the inheritors’ lives and their craft.This also reflects the regional culture that underlies a particular area,giving Intangible cultural heritage documentariess a unique expressive power.The research on how to excavate the regional culture that underlies intangible cultural heritage techniques and how to tell the stories of intangible cultural heritage is of great significance.This thesis begins with an introduction that explains the background and significance of the topic,as well as the current state of research both domestically and abroad.The main body of the thesis is divided into five chapters.Chapter One defines the concepts of Intangible cultural heritage documentariess and regional culture,summarizes the film anthropology and semiotics theories used in the research,and discusses the inherent relationship between regional culture and Intangible cultural heritage documentariess.Chapter Two explains the symbol carriers and image construction principles of regional culture in Intangible cultural heritage documentariess,observing the role played by different symbol carriers in the construction of regional culture in Intangible cultural heritage documentariess,and studying the image construction principles of regional culture,analyzing the handling of the relationship between symbols carriers and time and space.Chapter Three starts with the image construction method of regional culture,using object details,camera language,narration,and synchronous sound as the entry point,and further studies the narrative and meaning functions of visual symbols and auditory symbols in the construction of regional culture.Chapter Four analyzes the narrative techniques used in Intangible cultural heritage documentariess to construct regional culture from three perspectives:narrative dynamics,narrative perspective,and narrative structure.Chapter Five analyzes the existing problems in the construction of regional cultural images in intangible cultural heritage documentaries,such as the lack of innovation and the tendency of image construction to solidify.The balance between interest and ideology cannot be easily presented by heavy culture,and the use of artistic means is proposed to empower both content and technology;Dig deep into cultural details and present measures with a deep cultural interest.At the same time,examines the balance of the researcher’s role in the image creation process from the perspective of the recorder and native locals,and delves into the protection and inheritance significance of Intangible cultural heritage documentariess for regional culture and intangible cultural heritage.
