An Interactional Linguistics Study On Sentence Final Particles Of Zouping Dialect In Shandong

In the study of modern Chinese function words,the study of modal particles has always occupied an important position.Its meaning is vague and its usage is flexible,forming different modal particle systems in different dialects.The research results on the Sentence final particles in Zouping dialect are scarce and scattered.This article combines previous research results to comprehensively and meticulously analyze and describe the usage of Sentence final particles in the Zouping dialect of Shandong.Based on the main theory of "interactive linguistics",this paper studies the function of Sentence final particles in natural dialogue when they are used singly or together from the perspective of positionally sensitive grammar,using conversation analysis,corpus linguistics and other methods.Through the functional analysis of the Sentence final particles in Shandong Zouping dialect,on the one hand,we can have an understanding of the function of the Sentence final particles in natural conversation.On the other hand,under the application of a reasonable theoretical framework and research methods,the research results of the interactive function of the Sentence final particles can also be beneficial to the further research of Shandong dialect.This paper mainly studies the function of the last modal in Zouping dialect by using the theory of interactive linguistics and its positionally sensitive grammar.It is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction section,mainly introducing Zouping’s cultural geography,dialect attribution,the current research status of dialect modal particles,the reason and purpose of this topic selection,the interactive linguistics theory used in the research process,research methods,corpus sources,and the paraphrasing explanation of the corpus.The second part discusses the situation of using single sentence final particles in Zouping dialect.Based on the frequency of their occurrence,the sentence final particles are divided into two sections for analysis.The research on modal particles is mainly divided into three aspects.Firstly,the distribution of turn and sequence of Sentence final particles in dialogue;Secondly,the function of Sentence final particles in dialogue;Thirdly,examine whether the function of Sentence final particles of a sentence is sensitive to their position.Through analysis,it is known that the Sentence final particles of a sentence in Zouping dialect mainly have two types of turn distributions: within turn and at the end of turn,with three sequence distributions: initiating turn,responding turn,and minimum post extension.There are interactive functions such as drawing attention,inquiring,emphasizing,suggesting,and urging.There are differences in the interactive functions of modal particles at different turn and sequence positions,and the final modal particles in Zouping dialect are sensitive to their positions.Part 3 is an analysis of the use of the end of sentence modal particles in Zouping dialect.Through research,it has been found that in practical use,the interactive function of several sentence final particles in Zouping dialect is not fully integrated,but rather maintains a linear connection under their respective functions.The sentence final particles that appear more frequently are sensitive to their position.Part 4 is the conclusion of the paper,divided into two parts: "Research findings" and "Research limitations".Through the analysis of the Sentence final particles of single and consecutive sentences in natural conversation in Zouping dialect,it is found that the same modal particle has different functions in different conversational interactions,and the same function can be possessed by different modal particles.However,in different dialogue environments,there are differences in the same interactive function,which is due to different dialogue environments The different attitudes and positions of both the speaker and listener can lead to the exercise of different functions by modal particles,which further proves that the interactive function of sentence final particles arises and changes in specific speech interactions,and the function of sentence final particles is sensitive to their position.The conclusion also reflects on the shortcomings of this paper.
