Application And Expression Of Writing Character In Chinese Oil Painting

Painting is a meaningful form,and oil painting,as a special form of painting,has been constantly adjusting and innovating to adapt to the context of Chinese traditional culture since it was introduced to China from the West 400 years ago.But in China,if the painting form of oil painting is to be truly integrated and further developed,it must rely on the creator to return to the context of Oriental culture.To do this requires the creators to build on the local cultural value,draw nutrition from tradition,and re-establish the symbolism and originality of the traditional context in contemporary oil painting.Calligraphy and Chinese painting,as representatives of Chinese traditional art forms,trace its development.You can see the calligraphy works from the earliest oracle bone inscriptions,inscriptions to the Wei,Jin,Tang,and Song dynasties,and the literati paintings of Song,Yuan,Ming,and Qing Dynasties.In the form,"writing character" here can be used as an opportunity for the creative transformation of Chinese painting and calligraphy in the oil painting.At the same time,studying the use and expression of the writing existence in the development of Chinese oil painting to help us to find out the oil paintings with true Chinese cultural temperament in the wave of artistic development,can also guide us to further look forward to China’s excellence in the contemporary context More possibilities for the development of oil paintings.On this basis,this article will be divided into four main parts for research and discussion.In the first part,the main concept to be studied in this article,writing,will be specifically explained,focusing on the embodiment of writing in Eastern art Discussion.The second part is to sort out the application and expression of "writing character" in the process of Chinese oil painting development in units of time.The third part combines the specific representative artists and their works to discuss the topic.In the last part,we summarize and reflect on the problems existing in the use of "writing character" in Chinese oil painting and look forward to the possibility that "writing character" can further develop in Chinese oil painting.Through the research and discussion of these four major parts,we will dig deeply into the application and expression of "writing character" in Chinese oil painting.
