The one who breaks the time and space boundary of culture and is capable ofintegrating cultural resources with a brand new third party view on exotic and domesticcultures can acquire more space for cultural development. Keep the world in view, the USanimation is always good at absorbing essence of cultural resources from different areas andcountries of the world. The effective cultural capital transformation power of US realizes itscommodity and cultural value, optimizes the construction of its national image. This thesisadapts films from which exotic cultural elements are applied as examples to discuss theconcepts of US animation on cultural resources transformation, thus to reveal therelationships between animation and culture and promote the future development andtargeting of Chinese animation.First of all, the thesis will analyze the features of the films which reflect thedeconstruction and construction influence of US animation on exotic cultural elements fromfour aspects, namely, theme, character designing, scene designing, visual and audio languages.Based on the analysis, the writer discovers the insistence and theoretical innovation on themode of the deconstruction and construction of exotic cultural elements in US animationcreation, which is aimed at commercialism, conditioned by classification and prompted byexaggeration and mystique. Finally, inspired by the cultural phenomenon of the deconstructionand construction of US animation creation on exotic cultural elements the thesis concludesthat the creation of animation images will extend beyond real logic and cover the imitationculture of traditional aesthetic-appreciation. The appearance of animation culture enablespeople from different cultural background and groups to enjoy a shared culture. Facing theglobalized cultural background, the future development and targeting of Chinese animation isto form an animation world language with Chinese characteristics and structure a sharedanimation culture with Chinese ethnic characteristics. On the premise of respecting bothdomestic and exotic cultures, animators should use animation languages with Chinesecharacteristics to weaken the covering of imitation culture on authentic logic and make ahealthier environment for animation culture. Meanwhile, cored by national ethnic spirits,animators should get rid of the restrictions from regional and traditional cultures by the cartoon feature of animation so as to lay nutritious soil for the shared culture which integratesthe common memory of human. |
