In the course of the development of Chinese education,the Westerners who came to China in modern times played a significant role,and their educational thoughts and practices in a specific period profoundly influenced the development of Chinese education.Through collecting and sorting out relevant data,the author finds that no scholars have studied Young John Allen,A.P.Parker and George Alexander Kenndy’s literary propositions from the perspective of Chinese education,which is also the innovation of this paper.Centering on the views of Young John Allen,A.P.Parker and George Alexander Kenndy,this paper explores the Chinese education of Westerners who came to China in modern times.First of all,through the collection of relevant literature,through the case study,to carry out an in-depth investigation of their research.Chinese education situation.Secondly,it uses diachronic analysis to explore the development process of the Chinese education of the three persons,showing the fact that the Chinese education changed from dependent on Western learning to independent development and then to local development,and reveals the spiraling development process of the Chinese education of the Western people coming to China in modern times from primary to higher,from scattered to professional,from home to abroad.Finally,from the two aspects of Chinese education itself and cultural exchange,this paper summarizes the significance of Chinese education for Westerners who came to China in modern times and the enlightenment for the future development of Chinese education.By exploring the development of Chinese education for Westerners,on the one hand,it can improve the current situation of the lack of important persons’ ideas,promoting the development of modern Chinese.On the other hand,through the interpretation and interpretation of modern Chinese learning materials compiled by them,which not only provide rich and valuable historical literature and experience,but also have great reference and practical significance for deepening the teaching of contemporary Chinese as a foreign language.
