Beijing Opera,known as the "National Opera",is included in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage list in China,and as the most visual component of the opera performance,mask painting has been recognized as one of the traditional cultural icons of China.There are many problems in its inheritance method,such as the demand for cultural diversity,the high requirements of inheritors,and the obsolete means of disseminators.Optimizing the way of cultural transmission through digital technology has become a hot research topic nowadays.This study focuses on the mask painting culture of Chinese Peking Opera,and uses color as the starting point to explore the design of digital system for children’s interest based on the semantics of the mask painting culture symbols and the cognitive characteristics of color.The study firstly explores the basic semantics of the traditional five colors and their semantic features in the context of the Beijing Opera mask painting culture through literature research,and combines this with immediate teaching to test children’s understanding and empathy for the semantics of the traditional colors and to ensure the necessity of the experiment.Secondly,by guiding children to experiment with traditional patterns using the established traditional color palette,we analyze and summarize the color design suggestions of traditional culture that meet children’s cognitive preferences,and then guide the color design of the interface of the digital interactive system of the Beijing opera mask painting culture,"You Pu Er".The system constructs the cultural knowledge system and extracts the visual symbols of Beijing opera face painting culture.It integrates culture into the product and promotes education with entertainment.This study summarizes the color usage pattern of the interface of the interactive system of Beijing opera mask painting culture for children,so as to convey the cultural tone of the system with a color-led approach.It explores the symbolic features of the cultural system,transforms them visually and constructs them systematically,explores system design solutions of interest to children,promotes the mutual creation of children and traditional culture,and provides research ideas and practical experience for the study of the digital heritage of Beijing opera mask painting culture for children’s groups. |
