The early Zhou Dynasty in this paper refers to the Western Zhou Dynasty to the early Spring and Autumn Period.During this period, the Jin tombs found rich and more comprehensive, with obvious differences in rank, provids a basis for the analysis of cultural factors of the unearthed artifacts in the tombs of the Jin State. After sorting out the existing chronological views of the six cemeteries of the Jin State during this period, this paper chooses the Qucun Cemetery as the scale, takes the type division of various artifacts in Tianma Qucun(1980-1989)as the reference, incorporats artifacts unearthed in the other five cemeteries, and through the type division of typical artifacts, discusses the first paragraph of the pottery tomb of the Shangma Cemetery, which has not been dated, and the Shangguo Cemetery, which has a vague chronological view. The unified chronological framework of six cemeteries has been basically established. On the basis of stages, this paper analyzes the cultural factors of bronze and pottery unearthed in the tombs of the Jin State in the early, middle and late Western Zhou Dynasty and the early Spring and Autumn Period, and finds that the Zhou cultural factors have always occupied a leading position, while the local cultural factors are few,but the overall trend is still rising, and the rest of the cultural factors, such as Shang cultural factors, northern cultural factors and southern cultural factors, also appear indirectly.Among them, the proportion of Shang cultural factors and northern cultural factors show an overall downward trend, rare in the late Western Zhou Dynasty, while the proportion of southern cultural factors has always been the lowest. Finally, the paper combines literature and archaeological materials to try to discuss the development of Jin culture in the early Zhou Dynasty. At the beginning of the Jin state, its population consisted of at least three parts:the Zhou people, the indigenous Tang people, and the "Nine Sects of the Huai Family".But from the archaeological materials,it is not ruled out that it may include the Yin survivals.Southern cultural factors have been found in copper containers and primitive porcelain, reflecting the interaction between the upper class of the Jin state and the southern region. The cultural factors of the artifacts unearthed in the tombs of the Jin State in the early Spring and Autumn period were simpler than before, the Shang culture and northern cultural were rare, presumably these people have gradually integrated into the Jin culture. This article argues that there was not much difference between Jin culture and Zhou culture in the early Zhou Dynasty, but since the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty, new factors have emerged in the tombs of nobles in the Jin state, reflecting the leading role of nobility in the cultural development process.Although still in the embryonic stage, new factors laid the foundation for the formation of true Jin culture.
