Porcelain trade was an important economic activity in Shandong during the Song and Jin Dynasties. From the perspective of trade development conditions, porcelain trade cannot be separated from the booming porcelain industry on the one hand, and the improvement of traffic conditions on the other hand.In the Song and Jin Dynasties, not only the kiln sites were all over Shandong, but the kiln industry was developed. At the same time, land and water transportation is very convenient, but also Kenli Haibei,Jiaozhou Banqiao Town and other natural port.Under this background, the porcelain trade in Shandong developed rapidly during the Song and Jin Dynasties. The writing of this paper is roughly divided into three parts:one is to distinguish the age of unearthed porcelain and the attribution of kiln; The second is to analyze the circulation channels and routes in the porcelain trade process; The third is to show the specific features of the porcelain trade in the Song and Jin Dynasties in Shandong region through the archaeological sites and the symbols on the porcelain, and further explore the influence of the porcelain trade in this period on the objects of porcelain consumption and the relationship with the commodity economy. From the distribution of Song and Jin Dynasty porcelain unearthed in Shandong region. The area where ancient porcelain kiln sites were found and the surrounding areas are the areas where the unearthed porcelain materials are most abundant.Other economically developed areas in the Song and Jin Dynasties also unearthed a large number of porcelain, such as Jinan,Liaocheng,Zibo,Jiaozhou Banqiao Town(Mizhou)and other areas. These areas were the center and key areas of porcelain trade in the Song and Jin Dynasties in Shandong. From the above unearthed porcelain circulation situation,The porcelain trade in Shandong is generally dumped near by inland waterway shipping and land transportation;Because of the different geographical locations and transportation conditions in the north and south, there were differences in the circulation links of porcelain trade. In southern China, specifically, the way of inland waterway shipping--sea transportation--wharf was adopted to realize the step by step transfer of porcelain.Due to the seasonal nature of rivers, the transportation of porcelain in northern China was more by combining water and land transportation. Most of the excavated porcelain was mainly produced from kilns in Hebei and Henan regions near Shandong. This difference in the way and route of the circulation of porcelain from the north to the south can directly show the different historical features of the trade from the Song Dynasty to the gold porcelain. At the end of the article, this paper describes the booming trend of porcelain trade in Shandong during the Song and Jin Dynasties by taking archeological sites and symbolic symbols on porcelain as examples. In addition, through the analysis of the process of porcelain trade, this paper also came to the understanding that trade activities played a role of bridge and link in the process of porcelain production to consumption.Through trade activities, porcelain flowed to different groups and classes, and finally belonged to social consumption. This is also the final destination of porcelain trade in the process of commodity economy.
