| Wieniawski, one of the representatives of nineteenth century Romantic musicians,is a well-known Polish composer and violinist. His life was devoted to the performance and composition of violin music, and his violin music is the most famous of Polish violin music, and for the next two centuries the development of Polish violin art was inseparable from Wieniawski’s music. This Violin Concerto No.2 in D minor brings out the essence of his compositions. It has a strong regional style,a poetic and powerful presentation of atmospheric melody and technique, and a sense of elegance and gentleness without lack of determination. The beautiful tone of the violin and the difficult technique of the right and left hands are both fully displayed in this work. This is why it has become one of the concert classics,as it is often used by outstanding performers to demonstrate their extraordinary virtuosity. In this paper,I analyze and understand this work through three aspects:composition background and artistic value, music and performance technique analysis, and version analysis. In the pre-concert period, the author observed and studied the excellent performances of many performers, and analyzed the different performance techniques of the piece.I hope that more players will be able to show the charm of violin playing more easily and naturally in their performances. |
