Analysis Of The Composition Technique And Performance Characteristics Of The Zither And Cello Duo "Dark Fragrance"

Zheng,a traditional instrument with a long history of thousands of years,with the change of modern zheng music,many zheng songs came into being.As a modern zither music work,Dark Fragrance adopts the form of a duo of zither and cello.The whole piece takes profound emotional color as the keynote,which compacts the performance characteristics of Chaozhou zither music and expresses the composer’s emotional imagination.Both the unique creative skills and the innovative musical language of this song are worthy of further study.In view of this,this paper will conduct a complete analysis and research on Wang Zhongshan’s zither song "Dark Fragrance" from the two aspects of creation and performance.In the aspect of creation,the author will discuss the creation background,the analysis of composing techniques and the use of musical elements.At the performance level,combined with my own playing practice,I get my own opinions on the treatment and application of playing techniques in the repertoire.In this paper,the creative techniques and performance characteristics of "Fragrance" are taken as the research object,and the full text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the composer and the creation background of the zheng ensemble "Fragrance",and understands the creation process of "Fragrance" through the performance form of "duet".The second chapter is an analysis of the composition technique of "Dark Incense",this chapter will analyze the structure of the whole song,including the use of traditional Teochew folk music elements,and the narration of the musical form structure of the whole song,the panel structure of Chaozhou music and the reference of the elements of Chaozhou music,so as to completely explain the composition characteristics of "Dark Fragrance".The third chapter is the analysis of the playing techniques of "Dark Fragrance",from the left hand rhyming characteristics,the right hand rapid finger sequence,the combination of Chinese and western replay form in detail three aspects.
