A Study On The Creative Characteristics And Performance Techniques Of The Pipa Concerto "Loulan Girl"

The pipa concerto "Loulan Girl" is a contemporary pipa work with a highly regional style,created by composer Liu Xijin.The song takes "Loulan" as the theme,using the pipa,a plucked instrument from the Western Regions,as the main instrument.It depicts the ancient Silk Road,the mysterious ancient city of Loulan in the depths of the desert,and the kind and affectionate Loulan girl.This article will study music from three aspects: composer and work overview,creative characteristics,and performance techniques.The first part of the paper is written from two aspects: the introduction of the composer and the background of the composition.This article mainly elaborates on the creative experience,representative works,and style of composer Liu Xijin,and explores and sorts out the creative background of the ancient city of Loulan.The second part aims to gain a deeper understanding of the melody and style of the music by analyzing its structure and creative techniques.The third part provides a detailed analysis of the left and right hand techniques of the pipa used in the music,and explores the performance techniques to further experience the shaping of the "Loulan image" by pipa performance.
