Historical Research On Music Education In Music Journal Publised By Peking University

After the Xinhai Revolution,the first internationally recognized Chinese governmentthe Republic of China was established in Nanjing in 1912,and since then it has experienced a new cultural movement of emancipating the mind and advocating science,and promoted the May Fourth Movement of Marxism in China.In order to promote the spread of the idea of "aesthetic education" throughout the country and promote the reform and development of Chinese music,the society edited and published the earliest officially distributed "Music Magazine" in China on March 21,1920,with a total of 15 issues."Music Magazine" plays the role of "recorder" in the music activities of the early Republic of China,the role of,leader" in music education,and the role of "core person" in the development of music journals,"Music Magazine" composes the positive aspects of Western music culture and modern Chinese urban music culture,and is an indispensable historical content to understand China’s musical thoughts,music trends,and music research development trends in the early Republic of China.The article is divided into seven parts of the introduction and the main text,the first chapter is the educational background of the founding issue of the "Music Journal" of the Peking University Music Research Association,this chapter The author does not choose the traditional political,economic,cultural three major backgrounds,but from the perspective of education cut into three parts,respectively,the rules of education-the music education system that survives in the cracks,the connotation of education-the diversified coexistence of music culture trends and the carrier of education-Peking University Music Research Association,making the educational style shown in the "Music Magazine" more real,Accurate.The second chapter is the overview and summary of the magazine "Music Magazine",which discusses the overview of the magazine,the reason for its establishment,the purpose of the magazine,the editors and their educational ideas,and the content of the compilation and summarization,so as to construct the text style of the "Music Magazine".Chapters 3 to 6 are a compilation and research of the historical materials of the "Music Magazine",and construct the epitome of the activities in the early Republic of China in the three aspects of personal music education,school music education and social music education from the magazine.Chapter 7 summarizes the value and spirit of the times of Music Magazine,and leads to thinking about how Chinese music should be globalized.Through the study of the "Music Journal" of the Peking University Music Research Association,we explore a deeper thinking on the development of music education in the early Republic of China,take history as a guide,and provide some enlightenment for the development of modern music.
