Research On Visual Design Of Network Emoticons In Spring Festival Folk Customs

Internet emoticons of Spring Festival folk custom are the expression of Chinese folk culture in modern network social interaction,and are the carrier of visual expression of Spring Festival folk custom,bearing rich historical and cultural connotations.In this thesis,through the study of Chinese Spring Festival folk emoticons,the signifier and signified system is constructed,and on this basis,the visual design process and methods of Chinese Spring Festival folk online emoticons are summarized,so as to establish a link and continuity between Chinese Spring Festival folk customs and modern online emoticons,which is of great significance to the modernization of traditional folk culture.The research object of this thesis is the visual design of network emoticons in the folk customs of Lunar New Year,using semiotics,design and other related theories and methods.Firstly,it analyzes the theme evolution and popularity reasons of Spring Festival folk customs and Internet emoticons in emerging media.Secondly,saussure semiotics theory is used to classify and analyze the signifier and signified systems of the existing folk custom network emojis for the Festival,in which the signifier system focuses on the level of expression and the signified system focuses on the cultural connotation.Then,through the analysis of semiotics and design,the visual rhetoric of the festival folk network emoticons is summarized,including its visual transformation mode,design principles and design methods.Finally,the year of the Tiger series of network emoticons as a design case for practical verification,presented in the form of visual design of folk custom network emoticons.Through research,the author constructed the signifier and signified system of folk custom online emotions for the Spring Festival folk,summarized its visual design process and methods,deepened the study of its visual design,designed and created cases to verify the rationality of the signifier and signified system and the feasibility of visual design methods.Explore people’s life emotions during the Festival,deeply grasp the network social characteristics of folk online emoticons,promote the extension of traditional folk culture in the modern network,and provide a new way of thinking for scholars currently engaged in the study of traditional culture and network emoticons.
