Digital illustration is the creation of the painting with electronic media,compared to traditional painting to the work content,the more emphasis on the network transmission way,so as to gradually form a diversified range of application,has the advantages such as convenient and fast,it enriched the People’s Daily lives,and bring a more high-quality engaged the viewer.In this context,cultural confidence and the strategic concept of cultural power also promote the emergence of excellent illustrations with local characteristics in the theme and expression techniques of digital illustration.The theme of Dunhuang meridian painting,with its unique content,thought and artistic conception,shows a very high artistic achievement,has a very good artistic value and research value.This paper will study the creation of digital illustration based on the theme of Dunhuang Classics.Firstly,by analyzing the characteristics,style and current situation of digital illustration,it puts forward that digital illustration design should strengthen innovative thinking and show national cultural characteristics.Secondly,it interprets the content and characteristics of relevant themes of Dunhuang Meridian paintings,establishes the story of filial piety and nourishing products as the theme of creation practice,and theoretically analyzes the artistic characteristics and applied media required for creation,so as to provide reference for digital illustration creation reflecting national culture.Finally,the vivid modeling,colorful color composition and wonderful story text are extracted from the mural,and the digital illustration of dunhuang transformation painting theme is completed.On the basis of digital presentation,static paper,dynamic video and interactive cultural and creative products are added to realize the purpose,significance and multiple values of creation.Digital illustration described in this article,based on the plot of the six long strip form,the performance of dunhuang Jing Bian painting "gratitude Jing Bian" filial piety a story,picture is unified,fore and aft echo,using the new image of visual perception of dunhuang stories,appreciate the protagonist must mention which prince of parents to pure and true filial piety,home to patriotism,dedication Convey "benevolence","filial piety","good" and other excellent virtues,show that all things in the divinity have spirit,promote the human quality of truth,goodness and beauty.Through diversified interactive ways of cultural innovation,it can meet the needs of social life and cultural complex appeal of the audience,so that people can also feel the artistic charm of Dunhuang in their daily life.
