| The creativity and profundity of Marx’s productivity doctrine enables him to capture the key clues of social development through the many and varied appearances of life,and to gain insight into the basic laws of human historical development.The widespread application and iterative renewal of artificial intelligence is one of the key clues of contemporary social development.If we examine artificial intelligence with Marx’s doctrine of productivity,there is no doubt that artificial intelligence is essentially a new kind of social productivity: artificial intelligence can not only greatly change people’s traditional impression of labor tools and improve production efficiency,but also greatly liberate workers and open up production objects,etc.Of course,artificial intelligence is still very different from human intelligence,and its impact on social development is both multifaceted and often conflicting,so any one-sided optimism or pessimism about artificial intelligence is biased.The use of Marxist value rationality to harness the technological rationality of AI,adhering to a human-centered approach,and continuously promoting the all-round development of human beings is the proper use of AI.This article focuses on how AI reshapes productivity and the far-reaching effects that such reshaped productivity can have.Using historical analysis and literature analysis,the article examines the research objectives from five aspects: the introduction section,which mainly compares the origin and significance of the topic of the paper and the current status of domestic and foreign research,as well as provides a general introduction to the research ideas and methods of the paper;the first chapter distinguishes and defines the basic concepts of AI,and discusses the two main controversies about the connotation of AI(i.e.,weak AI and strong AI)and their implications;Chapter 2 explains the paper’s basic understanding of Marx’s productivity theory,which is closely integrated with the paper’s basic stance on AI;Chapter 3discusses the significant impact of AI on the classical Marxian productivity triad and its characterization;and Chapter 4 explores the far-reaching implications of AI’s reshaping of productivity.The paper argues that the penetration of AI into the productive forces inevitably promotes the development of the productive forces and subsequently the transformation of the relations of production and the superstructure,creating favorable conditions for the free and comprehensive development of human beings. |
