| As a text that accompanies the body of a poem,the self-annotations of classical Chinese poetry have an important interpretive authority when future generations of readers seek to understand the information and meaning of the poem.As an extension of ancient Chinese poetic literature,the emergence of " self-annotations" like classical Chinese poetry,has its own unique development and value.Although the creation of self-annotation poetry has gradually become consciously in the poetry collections of poets during Song Dynasty(960-1279),its research value is not limited to the poems of famous poets.He Zhu’s poetry collections are rich in the number of self-annotation poems with unique characteristics,and his personal innovation in writing self-annotation texts demonstrates his achievement in the history of diverse Song poetry self-annotation.However,in the history of self-annotation poetry,the history of lyrics,and the poetics of He Zhu,He’s self-annotation of the poems lack attention and are not studied as a whole.Therefore,in this paper,while we conduct a comprehensive study of the content of He’s self-annotation,we will also focus on the author’s active involvement in the interpretation of poetry using self-annotation,including how the act itself affects his creative practice and ideology,as well as how it reveals his identity as a poet and reflects his poetic value.The overall brief statement of the study is as follows.The introductory section firstly traces the development of self-annotation in classical Chinese poetry and understands that the self-note in He’s poems emerged in the Song Dynasty when the consciousness of writing self-note in poems was already formed.Secondly,it proposes a series of research ideas based on the excavation of the research value of He’s poetic self-annotations.Finally,in a review of the current status of poetry self-annotation and He’s poetry research,we point out the shortcomings of He’s poetry self-note that have been concealed in the era of many famous writers and prescribe the corresponding solutions.The first chapter is a description of the basic situation of self-annotation of He’s poems,including the identification of the poet’s notes,the analysis of their contents,and the exploration of their characteristics.The content of He’s self-notes includes four main aspects: "Chronology and Chronicle," "Record the trail," "Quoting allusions to explain the names of things," and "Remembering and honoring life.The poet’s unique poetic tendencies are reflected in the poet’s practice of changing the common form of poetry in his time,namely,"Simplify the title of the poem with a self-annotation," "Replacing the preface of a poem with a self-annotation," and "A poem with one self-annotation."The second chapter aims to explore the documentary value of He’s self-annotation as an independent form of textual study,independent of the main text of the poem.While explaining the meaning of the words and clearing up the allusions,the extensive narrative content of He’s poetry autographs also contains a lot of surviving information about the people and events of the time,poetic texts,and other related materials with cultural and historical value.Based on the documentary nature of the narratives in He’s poems,the multiple values of He’s self-annotations can be explored in terms of recording the interactions of people,historical materials,and geographical objects.The third chapter interprets the intertextual relationship between poetry and self-annotation in terms of the natural textual characteristics(Threshold)of self-annotation itself and explores the literary function of the self-annotation as the closest text to the body of the poem,which presents the effect of its poetic expression.This chapter incorporates the "liminality" theory in cultural studies into the textual interpretation and explores the narrative and reading space generated in the poem by the independence of the poem’s textual form characteristics,to analyze the premise of the intertextual interpretation of the self-note and the poem’s content.Finally,the theory of intertextuality is applied to the poetry of He Zhu and his self-annotation,focusing on the expressive effect of poetry art formed by the constant interaction between the poetry and the self-annotation text.Instead of limiting the discussion to the content of self-annotation or the relationship between poetic notes,the fourth chapter focuses on some essential motives hidden under the poet’s self-annotation behavior and influenced by the factors of the time.For example,how the poet uses self-annotations to construct "individual poetic history";how the self-annotations link the poet’s will and the reader’s thoughts,and how they reach the poet’s immortal consciousness of life "existence",thus revealing his self-identification as a "poet".we will discuss the following issues In the process of analyzing the above questions,we pay attention to the reflection of the poet’s self-annotation behavior on the change of poetic discourse of the times,and thus get a glimpse of the profound significance of He’s self-annotation in the history of poetry. |
