Concepts And Methods:A Study Of The Poetic Pursuit In Current Documentary Creation

Poetic,as an essential characteristic of poetic art,has been integrated and reflected in different developmental stages of movie history.When the lyrical factors and the beauty of rhythm carried in poems are implanted in reality-based documentaries,documentaries have nurtured a unique poetic style,which is different from traditional documentary styles.Documentary films are more inclined to express emotions,and to provide viewers with emotional experience and a way of thinking about the world.This paper will start with the poetic essence,combing the poetic characteristics and the poetic tradition in the documentary,and clarify the poetic roots in the documentary.Secondly,the author uses the independently completed work "Vietnam-Qiu Shui" as an example to carry out practical analysis from two perspectives: poetic narrative and poetic language,and to summarize the poetic approach in the documentary.Finally,the author reflects on the poetic issues in current documentaries,Exploring the influence of "poetics" on the "reality-description " in documentaries,and further explore the limitations and solutions of poetic strategies in film making.
