| In recent years,the speed of social transformation has accelerated,and the family pension function has begun to weaken.Only relying on children and relatives to provide pension services can no longer meet the physiological and psychological needs of the elderly.At the same time,community home care has become a supplement and replace the traditional family care model of the new pension.The goal of endowment is no longer just to meet the basic material needs of life,the mental health of the elderly also needs urgent attention.Therefore,this paper explores the impact of home-based care services provided by the community on the mental health of the elderly.Firstly,most of the researches on mental health of the elderly focus on the disabled elderly,empty-nesters,solitary elderly and other special elderly groups,and there is a lack of researches on a broader national sample of the elderly.Secondly,at the level of social factors,researchers pay more attention to the impact of social participation and formal social support such as medical insurance and endowment insurance on the mental health of the elderly,while less attention is paid to the impact of community factors on the mental health of the elderly.Third,the existing research and analysis the impact of pension for the elderly community mental health,studies have also discussed the community endowment services for the elderly life satisfaction,and life satisfaction as the significant factors that affect mental health,there is no scholar test life satisfaction in community home endowment service and mental health intermediary effect between the two.Therefore,this study studied the relationship between community home care services and the elderly’s mental health and life satisfaction,explored the impact path of community home care services on the elderly’s mental health,and tested the mediating effect of life satisfaction.This article USES the Chinese elderly health factors affecting tracking survey data in 2018,the personal characteristics of the elderly,the condition of family support,formal social support as control variable,the research community home endowment service influence on mental health in the elderly,and analysis of heterogeneity between urban and rural areas,the final inspection of life satisfaction in the intermediary effect between them.The findings are as follows: First,at the present stage,the level of extended support is higher than that of basic support.In terms of basic support,the level of home care service in rural communities is significantly lower than that in urban communities.In terms of extended support,there is no significant difference between urban and rural areas.Second,the life satisfaction level of the elderly in rural areas is significantly lower than that of the elderly in urban areas,while the mental health level of the elderly in urban and rural areas is not significantly different.Third,basic support has a significant positive predictive effect on mental health of the elderly,and life satisfaction has a mediating effect on the positive effect of basic support on mental health.Fourth,in terms of urban-rural heterogeneity analysis,basic support has a significant positive predictive effect on the mental health level of the elderly in rural areas,but has no significant impact on the mental health of the elderly in urban areas.In view of the conclusions of this paper,the author puts forward corresponding suggestions: First,according to the theory of equalization of basic public services,the development of urban and rural integrated social old-age service system including community home old-age service should be coordinated.Second,gradually improve the coverage of basic support in community home care services,and give full play to the role of basic community support in improving the mental health of the elderly.Third,improve the service quality and professional level of the extended support,so that it can improve the mental health of the elderly,to achieve the due service effect. |
