| With the improvement of modern China’s comprehensive national power and soft power,more and more countries have become connected with China.This development is not only reflected in the increase in international students year by year,but also in the increase of foreign countries majoring or minoring Chinese subjects.The increase in business contacts between multinational companies and the prosperity of foreigners’ tourism in China.In this situation,the development of cross-cultural communication in China is getting faster and faster.For staff engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and related staff,cross-cultural communication will inevitably be involved.With the publication of various books and essays on cross-cultural communication,forms beyond paper have also emerged,among which TV variety shows are the most typical.This article chooses the cross-cultural communication program “A Bright World”as the research material,and is supported by Hofstede’s cultural dimensions theory,using video analysis and comparative analysis.By analyzing the culture behind the corpus of various countries,it is concluded whether the corresponding dimensions can be used in the cross-cultural communication analysis of the corresponding topic.So as to provide inspiration and reference for work learners who are engaged in cross-cultural communication disciplines and Chinese international education disciplines.The analysis results indicate that the issues involved in “A Bright World” and the analysis results are highly consistent with Hofstede’s cultural dimensions theory.Therefore,when relevant personnel engage in cross-cultural communication with people from the countries involved in the article,they can use the “A Bright World” and Hofstede’s cultural dimensions theory as a reference basis for cross-cultural communication analysis. |
