Study On The Communication Function Of Confucian Temples In Song Dynasty From The Perspective Of Media Science

The sacrificial ceremony system of Confucius Temple is an important national ceremony and system for Confucius disciples and ancient scholars to worship Confucius.It contains the dual significance of respecting Confucius thought and confirming Confucian culture as orthodox,and has important communication functions such as politics,culture and education.As a result of the operation of the sacrificial rites in Confucius temples in the Song Dynasty,the sacrificial rites in four temples,ten sages and sages were finally formed,which laid the basic content of the sacrificial rites in Confucius temples in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties,constructed the ideological and cultural authority system adapted to social development,reflected the transformation of Confucianism mainstream ideology at that time,and played a guiding role in school education and social development at that time and later.Since the 21 years of the Zhenguan Confucius Temple in the Tang Dynasty,to the nine years of the Republic of China,only 182 Confucian scholars were able to worship the Confucius Temple.Among the 182 Confucian scholars,39 were Confucian in the Song Dynasty,accounting for about one-fifth of the number of scholars in the Confucius Temple,which directly reflects the prosperity and development of scholarship in the history of cultural communication in the Song Dynasty.In this study,the Confucius Temple in the Song Dynasty included both the Song Dynasty and the Confucian scholars in the Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties.Since Zhou Dunyi,Cheng Hao,Cheng Yi,Zhang Zai,Zhu Xi,Shao Yong and other masters of the Confucius Temple,Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty became authentic and had a profound influence on the formation of Chinese culture,spirit,morality and personality for thousands of years.This study focuses on the Confucius Temple in the Song Dynasty,from the perspective of media,and mainly discusses four parts: the first part mainly discusses the origin of Confucius Temple,sorts out its historical changes according to the time context,and then reveals the media characteristics of Confucius Temple in the Song Dynasty.The second part regards the Confucius Temple system,the ritual system of politics,culture and educational information,as a media mechanism,discusses its agenda setting and selection criteria,analyzes the process of "topic" and "evaluation",as well as the political and cultural contest in the operation of worship in the Song Dynasty.The third part,from the perspective of "media characters",focuses on analyzing the media attributes and media characteristics of Confucius Temple in the Song Dynasty.They promoted the dissemination and development of "Neo-Confucianism" in Chinese history by clarifying Confucian classics,spreading the way of sages and practicing Confucianism.The fourth part uses the communication function view to discuss the political orientation,cultural inheritance,ethical education and individual motivation of the song Dynasty Confucius temple.This study adopts the media method and field research method,from the perspective of the media,the song dynasty Confucius temple from the ritual as a "media mechanism" with Chinese characteristics,aims to examine the song dynasty Confucius temple from the system of media characteristics,the song dynasty Confucius temple from the spread function and role,for the present and future enhance cultural confidence,promote cultural revival,speak good Chinese story looking for historical and cultural basis.
