| This paper mainly from the version, proofreading, text procedures and other angles to examine the mid-Northern Song Dynasty of the epitaphs of the chambers.Firstly, the funeral and life characteristics of the chambers are examined, secondly, the characteristics of the procedures and contents of the epitaphs are examined, and finally, the epitaphs are proofread and annotated with the rubbings. The full text is divided into four chapters. The first chapter first summarizes the collection of the epitaphs and rubbings of the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty, and classifies them according to the identity characteristics of the tomb owners, which can be divided into three categories:men in the chamber, daughters in the chamber, and wives in the chamber. At the same time, some errors in the databases found in the collection process and in the literature containing the epitaphs are also slightly stated. The second chapter focuses on the funeral and life characteristics of the chambers. There are mainly concentrated burial periods;after death will be parked for a period of time, and then follow the great funeral or be buried next to the ancestors and the length of parking varies. Some of the children who die will also be cremated and then parked;and the life span of the chambers is generally shorter, and the number of children who die is higher, and so on.The third chapter discusses the text characteristics of the keeping and change of procedural expression of the epitaphs in the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty;the image of the ideal chambers in the text, and so on.The procedures of the epitaphs of the chambers are relatively fixed, and the procedures of the general epitaphs are similar, but there are also changes, such as different people writing epitaphs, their writing procedures will be larger differences; The epitaphs of the different chambers will have different procedures, such as the epitaphs of children who die generally do not have inscriptions, the epitaphs of the adult chamber men have more words than the epitaphs of the chambers’ wives, etc.Because all epitaphs were ordered to be written and the management of the chambers was strict, and the authors were not familiar with the tomb owners, this way of writing allowed the epitaphs to convey the expectations of the outside world for the image of the ideal chambers at that time. The fourth chapter aims to correct the mistakes in the epitaph texts and annotate the epitaphs through the proofreading of the rubbings and epitaph texts. Some of the more obvious errors in the epitaphs that are not retained in the rubbings are also corrected or questioned by the same book proofreading, reasoning proofreading, comparing proofreading methods. The final appendix has two parts.First,a concise catalogue and basic information table of the epitaphs of the chambers in this paper, the abbreviations of the epitaphs received in this article are compared with the full name, sorted according to the burial period, and list the author, source and other basic information; The second is sixteen rubbings for readers to refer to. |
