| The Lü clan in Lantian,Shaanxi,in the Northern Song Dynasty,was the descendant of Lü Xianxiu,offcial to Hubushilang in the Five Dynasties period,and originated from Ji County in Hedong(now Xinxiang,Henan).In the middle and late Northern Song Dynasty,the position of the Lü family began to be prominent,especially the "big" generation is the most outstanding,and it is the representative of the scholar-bureaucrats family in the Guanzhong area.The family members’ tombs are located in Responsibility fields,North 4th Group,Wulitou Village,Sanli Town,Lantian County,Shaanxi Province.The location of the cemetery is high in the northeast and low in the southwest.The impact of surgery.The arrangement of the tombs follows the ancient Zhaomu system,and the family patriarchal concept is clear.The tombs are quite local.They are all vertical cave tombs with complex and diverse shapes.From early single-chamber tombs to late double-chamber tombs,and even multi-chamber tombs,they reflect the changes in the family’s funeral philosophy.The unearthed burial objects are large in number and rich in types,mainly including porcelain,pottery and stoneware,metalware,epitaphs,and so on.Due to the regulations of the funeral system in the Song Dynasty,the funeral customs in the Guanzhong area,and the geographical environment,the tombs of the Lü family in Lantian are different from the brick chamber tombs and stone chamber tombs popular in the south and Guandong,presenting their own staged and regional characteristics.In addition,regarding the issue of the "thickness" of the social funeral customs in the Northern Song Dynasty,we should look at specific phenomena in detail.Moreover,most of the unearthed burial objects were practical tools or favorites of the tomb owner during his lifetime,showing that the scholar-official families in the Guanzhong area of the Northern Song Dynasty not only paid attention to the quality of life,but also emphasized the taste of life that both refined and popular. |
