| Autism spectrum disorder is a serious mental development disorder that starts in infants. Its core symptoms are social communication disorders and stereotyped behavior patterns.Prospective memory is the memory of activities to be executed in the future. It is closely related to the formulation and implementation of plans.Prospective memory can generally be divided into two types:event-based prospective memory and time-based prospective memory. The scenario simulation of future events means that the individual vividly imagines the background environment and details of the execution activities as much as possible before performing the activities that need to be completed in the future. It has a very close relationship and has many common neural mechanisms with episodic memory. The situation simulation of future events can be seen as an episodic memory of future events. The prospective memory is related to the formulation and execution of the plan,so it is closely related to the social adaptation and self-care of autistic children. This study explores the event-based and time-based prospective memory deficits of autistic children under different motivational situations, also explores whether future event simulation can improve the prospective memory performance of children with autism in different motivation situations. The article consists of three studies. The first study is to investigate whether there is a difference in the number of prospective memory tasks between autistic children and normal children in daily life.Study 2 set up three motivational situations, using a mixed design of 2(group:autism group vs.typical development group)× 3(motivated situations:social vs.personal vs.standard)× 2(task type:EBTM vs.TBPM)explore the differences in prospective memory between children with autism and typical children under different motivational situations.Group and task situations are inter-subject variables, and task types are intra-subject variables.Study 3 uses a mixed design of 2(group:future event simulation group vs.control group)×3(motivation situations:social vs.personal vs.standard)×2(task type:EBPM vs.TBPM)to explore whether future event simulation can improve children with autism prospective memory performance in different motivation situations, group and task scenarios are designed for inter-subjects,and task types are designed for in-subjects.Research indicates:(1)In daily life, the number of socially motivated prospective memory tasks of autistic children is significantly less than that of typical children.(2)Under three different motivational situations, the EBPM and TBPM of autistic children is significantly lower than that of typical children;(3)Under three different motivational situations, the performance of TBEM in autistic children under the personal motivation situations was significantly better than the performance under the standard and social motivation situations, and there was no significant difference in the prospective memory of EBPM;different from children with autism, the EBPM of typical children has significant differences under different motivational situations, and the performance under personal motivational situations is significantly better than that under standard and social motivational situations, while TBPM has no significant difference under different situations.(3)The future event simulation can significantly improve EBPM and TBPM performance of autistic children in different situations. |
