| This study used the attentional blink paradigm to investigate the attention ability of capturing rapid emotional stimuli in children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD).Through this to explore the cause of emotional recognition disorder in children with ASD.At the same time,sensory modulation abnormalities and anxiety phenomena in children with ASD were included to explore whether they were related to the attention of emotional faces in children with ASD.Specifically:Study 1 used the dual-task attention blink paradigm to investigate the effect of positive and negative emotional faces stimuli on attention in children with ASD.Study 2 used the single-task attention blink paradigm to investigate the effect of positive and negative emotional picture stimulation on the attention of children with ASD.In addition,the Short Sensory Profile Chinese Vision and Spencer Child Anxiety Scale will be used to investigate the sensory modulation and anxiety levels of children with ASD to analyze the relationship with the attention of emotional faces in children with ASD.Overall,this study found that children with ASD can quickly notice different types of emotional stimuli under the attentional blink paradigm,but this ability is significantly weaker than TD children and requires slower speed.This result supports the theory of rapid visual integration and social motivation.Also sensory abnormalities in children with ASD may also impair their attention to emotional faces.Finally,this study controlled intelligence suggesting that the deficit of attention to emotional stimuli in children with ASD under this study condition was not associated with intellectual development. |
