On The All-Round Development Of Man As The Purpose Of Education

Marx proved that the education people receive in a capitalist society can be subordinate to the interests of the ruling class.Among capitalists,education is a tool for spiritually enslaving the people.Such education cannot guarantee the right of everyone to education,and it is even less likely that people will achieve full physical and mental development.Marx’s understanding of the purpose of education is fundamentally different from previous views,specifically embodied as: Marx bases education on the basis of "real people".Through the combination of education and productive labor,make the people facing education no longer abstract.This basic understanding of "human" stipulates the direction of education.To understand education,we must first understand the people in education.In the current era,there’re some changes within human existential state.Accordingly,education and productive labor have changed a lot.Therefore,in order to rethink the relationship between education and human and the purpose of education,we must keep pace with the times,aiming at the existing shortcomings in the field of education,linking with the new forms of contemporary educational development.And through realistic education reforms,we should apply Marx’s educational thoughts to realistic educational practice,realize the educational goal of making people’s all-round development play a better role in guiding educational practice.
