Medical Anthropology Research On The Multiple Medical System Of Xijiang Miao Village

Medical anthropology regards human beings as biological and cultural units and focuses on medical phenomena and disease cognition of different cultures.Based on the field investigation of Xijiang Miao Village in Leigong Mountain area,this paper studies the medical choice behavior of villagers in Xijiang Miao Village under the multi-medical system with the research methods and perspectives of medical anthropology.The full text is divided into three parts: introduction,text and reflection.The introduction part mainly expounds the academic value and practical significance of this topic,and carries on the related literature review.This paper introduces the main contents,ideas and methods of the research,and explains the main points and field investigation.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter discusses the Miao people’s view of life and disease,pointing out that the Miao people believe that everything has life,the same origin of life,worship nature,reverence for life and the understanding of disease.The second chapter is an ethnographic overview of the diversified medical system in Xijiang Miao Village.The third chapter discusses the factors that affect the villagers’ choice of doctors by taking the villagers’ practice as the clue.Finally,the conclusion is drawn that under the influence of various factors,Xijiang villagers basically follow the practice logic of "Find the right treatment","Gou xiang can cure all diseases" and "Multiple treatments for one disease".The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of the internal structure and essence of Xijiang Miao village pluralistic medicine,pointing out that Xijiang Miao village pluralistic medicine has the characteristics of symbiosis,complementarity and competition.In the thinking part,the paper holds that multi-medical care is not only shaped by economy and politics,but also the result of communication and integration of different medical cultures.Each medical system has its corresponding disease knowledge,and also has its value and significance of existence.In particular,it is of great practical significance to provide diversified diagnosis and treatment programs for the people and promote a healthy China.
